Louise F. Vitelli

Louise F. (Garafano) Vitelli passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Suburban Woods Health & Rehabilitation in E. Norriton, PA. She was 99. Mrs. Vitelli was a resident of Norristown, PA. She worked as a seamstress. Louise was a member of Holy Saviour Church in Norristown, PA. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, reading and going to the shore. Louise greatest pleasure was spending time with her family. Born in Norristown, PA on March 12, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Maria (DeMarco) Garafano. She was the wife of the late Sylvester Vitelli, who died in 1996. Surviving is her loving family including a son, Sylvester J. Vitelli of E. Norriton, PA; a granddaughter, Cheryl Ann DeStefano and her husband, Gary; a sister, Carmella Moriarity and her husband, Bill, of E. Norriton, PA; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Margie Vitelli; five brothers: Louis, Joseph, George, John and James Garafano; and three sisters: Angelina Garafano, Lucy Garafano and Marie Ciccarone. Relatives & friends are invited to Louise’s Funeral Mass at Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main St., Norristown, PA on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 11:00 am. Her viewing is Saturday from 10:00 to 10:50 am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, E. Norriton, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Louise’s memory to Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main St., Norristown, PA 19401.
