Luigi Gino Leparulo

Luigi Gino Leparulo, 192 Chester Avenue, Phoenixville, Pa, passed away on February 17, 2021 due to complications arising from Covid 19. He was 86 years old. Luigi was born in Avellino, Italy on February 16, 1935, and came to the United States at the age of 17. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 1959 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a major in agronomy and horticulture. In 1964, he graduated from Rutgers University with Master of Science in pre-pharmacy. Luigi was self-employed in the financial industry. He was always at work, even up to the time he went to the hospital for the last time. Luigi was also an avid gardener and cook, and often prepared Italian dishes for church functions and other large gatherings. Surviving are his 3 children Karen, Paul and Keith; eldest son Anthony Leparulo passed in 2015. Luigi is also survived by his former wife, Judy Leparulo, and his siblings: William Leparulo of Tallahassee Florida, and Elda (Leparulo) Schmidt who lives in Arizona. Due to Covid, only a private, family service will be held.
