Lyla G. Miller

Lyla G Miller, 102, of Jenkintown, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Rydal Park, Abington. Lyla was born in El Salvador in Central America, on September 29, 1920, a daughter of the late Felicita Gutierrez and Salvador Brizuela. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert D Miller Sr. and mother of the late J. Rodolfo Aviles. She was a member of Immaculate Conception BVM Church in Jenkintown, PA. Lyla had worked as a Seamstress/Tailor in the clothing industry.  Lyla is the loving Mother of Robert D. Miller Jr., of Jenkintown, PA., Julio I. Aviles (Miriam) and the late J. Rodolfo Aviles (survived by his wife Ruth). She was the devoted Grandmother of Sergio J. Aviles, Anna Karina Aviles, and Gustavo A. Aviles. Lyla is also the dear sister of Maria Elena, Carmen, and the late Dolores. A public visitation will be held from 9:00 - 10:00 AM followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM, both on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Immaculate Conception BVM Church 602 West Ave. in Jenkintown, PA. Her interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception BVM Church. Services entrusted to the Joseph J.
