Lyle "Pop" Hall passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016. He was a month shy of his 96th birthday. Lyle grew up on a dairy farm in upstate New York where he learned to be resourceful. He served in the US Navy in the Pacific Theater during World War II where he learned how to survive. He was hired by General Electric and began his career in Schenectady, New York. He was transferred to King of Prussia in 1956 and retired after 41 years. He is survived by his son, Bruce Hall of King of Prussia; his daughter, Beth Ward (David) of West Chester; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Grace Lois Hall; a son, Lyle W. Hall II of Jupiter, Florida; and a daughter, Marsha Bates of Colorado Springs. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Valley Forge Memorial Chapel, Route 23, Valley Forge, PA. Internment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family directs donations to Meals on Wheels of the Senior Adult Activities Center of Montgomery County (Montco SAAC), 536 George Street, Norristown, PA 19401.
