Magdalena C. Nemes

Magdalena C Nemes, 99, of Philadelphia, PA passed away Friday, February 23rd, 2024 peacefully, at Philadelphia Protestant Home.

Magdalena was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 16, 1924, a daughter of the late Margaret (Kaiser) and Francis Munjat.

She was the widow of John Nemes. They were married for 47 years prior to John's passing on October 9, 1993.

She was a former member of St. Timothy Church in Phila, PA.

Magdalena played the piano, enjoyed crossword puzzles, needlework, old game shows on TV and was an avid Phillies fan. She also belonged to a bowling league at T Bird Lanes.

Magdalena is survived by a daughter, Magdalen, wife of Joseph Wilson and a son, John Nemes, Jr. husband of Deborah. She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren and 14 Great Great Grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing from 9:15 to 10:15 on Friday, March 1st at St. Timothy Church 3001 Levick St. in Phila, PA.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM

Her Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery Bensalem, PA.
