Malcolm Raison

After a long battle with lung cancer, Malcolm Raison, age 67, passed away peacefully at his home on November 11, 2022. He was surrounded by those he loved the most. Malcolm has always loved spending time outdoors. In his younger years, he enjoyed being on the baseball field, golfing, and spending time on the water. He took pride in his well manicured lawn, and extravagant Christmas light displays.

Malcolm was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Helen Raison. He loved telling stories of growing up with five brothers: Geoff, Rick, Bruce, Rob, and Greg.

Malcolm is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cheryl Raison. He expressed his deep gratitude for the loving care she provided during his illness. He leaves behind his children: Cherie (Archie), Brian, Christi (Lance), and Erin (Jimmy). His children will always remember that he was just a phone call away because he was the fixer of all things. His most favorite role was being a Poppop to 11 grandchildren: Hunter (Makayla), Paige, Evan, Addyson, Connor, Kennedy, Olivia, Juliet, Jacob, Cole and Brackston. He was a proud great grandfather to Riley.

At Malcolm’s request, there will be a private celebration of life with his family.

In lieu of flowers or donations, we ask that you take a moment to hug your child, grandchild, friends, family, or take a walk outdoors for a moment, an hour or a day. Time waits for no one!
