Margaret Freas Allen

Margaret Freas Allen, beloved wife of Robert R. Allen Sr. died peacefully in her home on July 13, 2014 after a long battle with cancer.   “Margie” is survived by her younger brother, Samual J. Freas, Jr.  She was the loving mother of Albert E. Barth,III (Kimberly) of West Norriton, PA. and daughter Margaret J. (Barth)Lowe (Harry) of Abington PA, and Step-daughter H. Gail Allen of Glenside, PA.  She was the beloved grandmother of Stephen, Brian, Justin, Drew, Albie, Robby and Jordan and great-grandmother of Brayden.  She is survived by 7 nieces and nephews and 8 step nieces and nephews as well as many great nieces and nephews. Margie had a passion for those with special needs, animals and underdogs. She enjoyed keeping herself physically fit and loved spending time with her family and friends at home, on the Chesapeake, and in the Poconos. There will be a Friends Meeting for Worship to celebrate Margie’s life on Monday July 21, 2014 at 2PM. Friends are invited to express their condolences between 1PM and 2PM.  Abington Friends Meeting House is located at 520 Meetinghouse Road, Jenkintown, Pa  19046.
