Margaret "Peg" Elliott

Margaret L. “Peg” (Lawley) Elliott passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 5, 2022, surrounded by her family at her home in Collegeville, PA. She was 86. Peg held various positions of employment which included secretary for: The Evening Bulletin, Schuylkill Township Police Department, and Upper Merion School District, camp director for Boy Scout Camp Delmont and real estate agent for Century 21. Peg was also a member of the ski patrol at Spring Mountain, a charter member of Valley Forge Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon and long-time choir member. Born in Philadelphia, PA on December 4, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Margaret (Stevens) Lawley. She was the wife of the late Thomas S. Elliott and also her first husband, Robert G. Mayberry. Surviving is her loving family including three sons: David A. Mayberry, Kevin (Sandy) Mayberry and Wayne (Anita) Mayberry; a daughter, Linda (Al) Cybart; three grandchildren: Alex Mayberry, Ryan Mayberry and Kelly Acerba; a great-grandson, Tristan Mirrer; step-son, Wade (Michelle) Elliott; step-daughter, Kim Proud; and two step-grandchildren, Ian Proud and Kallan Dokas. The family will receive relatives and friends at Valley Forge Presbyterian Church, 191 Town Center Road, King of Prussia, PA on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 10:30 to 12 noon; with her Funeral Service starting at noon. Masks will be required. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Peg’s memory to the Montgomery County SPCA, 19 E. Ridge Pike, PO Box 222, Conshohocken, PA 19428-0222, www.montgomerycountyspca.org/donate and/or Valley Forge Presbyterian Church, 191 Town Center Road, King of Prussia, PA 19406 valleyforgepres.org.
