Margaret Mary Knapp

Margaret Mary Knapp of Worcester passed away at home on Saturday, September 18, 2021. Margie was retired from her longtime position as bookkeeper at the Norristown Times Herald and a member of the Mercy Suburban Hospital Auxiliary. She was an avid baseball fan, playing 2 nd base during a memorable Phillies Dream Week. Margie was born on September 18, 1939, in Norristown to the late Walter J. and Margaret (McGarry) Knapp. She is survived by a sister Francesmarie Shoemaker; a brother, James Knapp; and many nieces and nephews. Her sister, Mary G Stimmler and brother, Walter Knapp Jr, preceded her in death. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Monday, September 27 th at 10am in Visitation BVM Lower Church 196 N Trooper Rd., Norristown, Pa 19403.
