Margaret B. McGovern Margaret B. McGovern, 89, of Meadowbrook, PA passed away Sunday, February 16th, peacefully, at St. Joseph Manor. , formerly of 940 Faunce St.  Phila., PA 19111 Margaret was born in Philadelphia PA on June 11, 1924, a daughter of the late Anne V. (Murphy) and Joseph McGovern. She worked as a Clerk Typist for the City of Philadelphia for many years. Peg was a member of Presentation BVM Choir for many years. She graduated from John W. Hallahan High School, class of 1942 Margaret is survived by two sisters, Anne Lang and Mary Kokoszka, of CT. she is pre-deceased by her siblings: Rev. Joseph J. McGovern SJ, Marie (Dot) Gemmell, John McGovern and Francis McGovern, who is survived by Mary Fox.  Aunt Peg is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.  In lieu of flowers, Donations in her memory may be made to St Joseph's Manor, 1616 Huntingdon Pike, Meadowbrook, Pa 19046.
