Margaret M. Murphy

Margaret M. Murphy passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 21, 2012, surrounded by her loving family at her residence in Phoenixville, PA. She was 65. Ms. Murphy was a previous resident of Bridgeport, PA. She worked as a purchasing agent for Lockheed Martin in King of Prussia, PA, until her retirement in February of 2012. Margaret was a member of St. Augustine R.C. Church in Bridgeport, PA. Born in Norristown, PA on March 28, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Joseph F. and Margaret E. (Cannon) Murphy. Surviving is her loving family including two brothers, James J. Murphy and his wife, Sharon, of Langhorne, PA and Joseph F. Murphy and his wife, Nancy, of Chester Springs, PA; three sisters: Kathleen M. Sierzenski of Phoenixville, PA, Mary E. Murphy of Phoenixville, PA and Eileen M. Wood and her husband, James, of Kimberton, PA; four nieces: Shannon, Kate, Kathleen and Colleen. She was preceded in death by one nephew, Joseph F.Margaret's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine R.C. Church, 464 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 11:00 am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday morning from 9 to 10:45 am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Margaret's memory to Neighborhood Hospice, 400 E.
