Margaret M. Pettit    Margaret M. Pettit, 88, of Holmesburg section in Philadelphia, PA, passed away Saturday, June 4th, 2016 peacefully, at Vitas Hospice at Nazareth Hospital. Margaret was born in Philadelphia, PA on June 16, 1927, a daughter of the late Margaret and Joseph Mahoney.   She was employed as a Cashier at Crown Cork & Seal in Philadelphia, PA., She was a member of St. Jerome Church.  She was the widow of John W. Pettit. They were married for 63 years prior to John's passing. Margaret is survived by a son, John R., of Hainesport, NJ.   Her devoted Grandchildren Andrea and Amanda, her sister Dolores Focia, and her brothers William and Joseph Mahoney.  Margaret is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is also pre-deceased by her brother Edward Mahoney.
