Margaret H. Wahls

Margaret H. (Hartenstine) Wahls passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Paoli Memorial Hospital in Paoli, PA. She was 74. Mrs. Wahls was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She worked as a secretary, and a stay-at-home mom. She was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia. Margaret enjoyed traveling, cooking and taste testing local eateries. She liked all animals, especially dogs. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Born in Bridgeport, PA on November 26, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Ralph K. and Helen (Hartnett) Hartenstine. Surviving is her loving family including her husband, Henry L. Wahls, Jr.; a daughter, Christine M. Dies and her husband, Douglass, of King of Prussia, PA; a granddaughter, Katherine Dies; a sister, Marie DiSimone of Trooper, PA; two nephews, Robert DiSimone and his wife, Larissa, and the Rev. Michael Davis; and a niece, Jean Davis. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Bernard DiSimone, and a nephew, David DiSimone. Margaret’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Margaret’s nephew, the Rev. Michael Davis. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 9:30 to 10:50 am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Margaret’s memory to the Montgomery County SPCA, 19 E.
