Marguerite I. Halpin ‘Peggy’, 88, of Hatboro, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 peacefully, at Luther Woods Rehabilitation Center, in Hatboro, PA. She was the widow of Joseph R. Halpin. Marguerite was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 16, 1928, a daughter of the late Irene (Durkin) and Frank Faas. Peggy was a loving mother and Grandmother. She volunteered at Abington Memorial Hospital for over 40 years until 2007. Peggy loved Tennis, the beach at Ocean City, the adult evening art class at Hatboro-Horsham High School. She also frequented the libraries at Horsham and Ocean City, and Peggy was an avid animal lover. Peggy is survived by three daughters, Beth, wife of the late Richard Tiedeken, Barbara, wife of Douglas Fellman Megan, wife of Edward Connolly and a son, Richard Halpin husband of Lu Ann. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. Family will receive relatives and friends from 9 to 9:50 AM and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM, both, on Monday, February 13, 2017 at St. Joseph Church / 1795 Columbia Ave. Warrington, PA 18976 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association PO Box 96011.
