Maria (Iacobelli) Fiorentino

Maria (Iacobelli) Fiorentino passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2015 at her residence in East Norriton, PA, at the age of 81. Maria was a longtime resident of Bridgeport, PA. She was a member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport and the Figli D'Italia and Campania clubs. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother known for her great Italian cooking. She also enjoyed spending time at the beach with family at her Ocean City residence. Born in Naples, Italy on October 28, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Maria (Idone) Iacobelli. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 57 years, Ermenegildo Fiorentino; three sons: Bruno (Mary) Fiorentino of Berwyn, PA, Mauro Fiorentino of Reading, PA and Tony (Anne) Fiorentino of Audubon, PA; nine grandchildren: Crystal, Kathy, Michele, Teresa, Christina, Jonathan, Michael, Stephen and Christopher; two great-grandsons, Tyler and Josh; a brother, Luciano Iacobelli of Brazil; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Renato, Ottavio and Aldo. Maria's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Worship Site, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 10:00 am. The family will receive relatives & friends on Friday from 9 to 9:50 am, at the worship site.
