Maria L. (Linsalata) Roszko

Maria L. (Linsalata) Roszko passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at her father-in-law's home in King of Prussia, PA. She was 64. Mrs. Roszko was a resident of Trooper, PA. She was a member of Visitation B.V.M. Church in Trooper, PA. Maria was an avid gardener and she loved the beach. She was an incredible cook and made the best pizzelle cookies.Born in Philadelphia, PA on July 23, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Natale (Roncase) Linsalata. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 42 years, Augustino "Gus" Roszko; three sons: Ben Carty and his wife, Pam of Spring City, PA, Eric Carty and his wife, Michelle of Phoenixville, PA and Gus Roszko and his wife, Apinya of Pottstown, PA; two daughters, Mary Ann Ceneviva and her companion, Mike Bucci of Royersford, PA and Georgia Roszko and her companion, Greg Brasco of Downingtown, PA; seven grandchildren: Ben, Dylan, Damen, Kara, Crystal, Nick and Jacqueline; four great-grandchildren: Celena, Vance, Sierra & Madison; a brother, Mark Linsalata and his wife, Regina of Clinton, ILL; a sister, Anita Fields and her husband, David of Hercules, CA; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Celena Ceneviva; and a brother, Joseph. Relatives and friends are invited to Maria's Prayer Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 11:00 am. Her viewing is Saturday morning from 9 to 10:50 am, at the funeral home.
