Marian M. (McMenamin) Palmer passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at The Elms of Cranbury in Cranbury, NJ. She was 82. Mrs. Palmer was a resident of Cranbury, NJ and was formerly of King of Prussia, PA. Marian was a former member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia. She was an officer of MDP Women’s Guild, a Girl Scout leader and an active member of Upper Merion Baseball Association and the King of Prussia Indians. Born in Philadelphia, PA on March 31, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Walter T. and Catherine E. (Walsh) McMenamin. She was the wife of the late Charles F. Palmer, Jr., who died in 2012. Surviving is her loving family including three sons: Stephen C. Palmer of Little River, SC, Lawrence A Palmer of King of Prussia, PA and Gregory F. Palmer of Cape Canaveral, Fl; two daughters, Eileen M. Palmer of Cranbury, NJ and Sharon P. Gamble and her husband, Thomas, of Collegeville, PA; seven grandchildren: Jason, Ryan, Eric, Caitlin and Lindsey Palmer and Jacob and Emma Gamble; and three great-grandchildren, Tyson, Connor and Travis Palmer. She was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Lewis. Relatives & friends are invited to Marian’s Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 11:00 am. Her viewing will be Thursday morning from 10 to 10:50 am, at the church. Interment will be private in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marian’s memory to the Upper Merion Township Library, 175 W. Valley Forge Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406.
