Marie F. Heaney

Marie F. Heaney (nee Figiel), 85, of Richboro, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 2, 2022. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 31, 1936, to the late Charlotte Tessie (Kaminski) and Stephen Figiel. Marie attended St. John Cantius R.C. Church and then continued her education with St. Anne’s Business School. She worked at Sears Roebuck and Co. for 15 years as a secretary. She enjoyed sewing. Her main joy was watching her family grow, from her children to her grandchildren. She enjoyed attending their activities and cheering them on. Each one was so special to her. Marie and the love of her life, Dick, enjoyed retirement at their home in the Pocono Mountains in Bear Creek Lakes, Jim Thorpe, Pa. They were involved with the community there and with their parish, St. Peter the Fisherman in Lake Harmony, Pa. She is now forever in the arms of her love, Dick, who she has missed so much for the past ten and a half years. Marie was the loving wife of the late Richard J. She is survived by a son; Robert (Donna), and three daughters; Patricia, Eileen (Dennis), and Karen (Scott); a brother, Richard (Jean), and sister-in-law, Katherine. Marie was an amazing Mom-Mom to her 12 grandchildren: Brian, Nicole, Kimberly, James, Kaitlin, Amy, Timothy, Ryan, Daniel, David, Sara and Aidan. And Babcia to her 7 great-grandchildren: Brody, Cecelia, Connor, Lincoln, Leah, Reagan and Richard John IV (R.J.) Family and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday, January 8, 2022, from 9:15-10:15 AM followed by a funeral mass at 10:30 AM both held at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020.
