Marie N. Naseef

Marie N. (Montanaro) Naseef passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery in E. Norriton, PA. She was 94. Marie, a homemaker, was a resident of Norristown, PA. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Norristown, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA on December 21, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Donato and Lucy (Coccia) Montanaro, and the wife of the late Albert K. Naseef. Surviving is her loving family including seven children: Robert (Cindy) Naseef, Albert Naseef, Marilyn (Tom) Mscisz, Luci (Lou) Prange, Paul (Lisa) Naseef, Richard (Sharon) Naseef and Greg (Jayme) Naseef; 17 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Montanaro; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, and a son, Donald Naseef. After raising eight children, Marie treasured her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed years of being active in Epiphany 55, participating with her husband in several trips. She also enjoyed bowling, casino slot machines, and socializing with her friends. She was a wonderful cook, having had a lot of practice feeding her family and many guests, but most important, there was always dessert. Another favorite pastime was sewing. Marie was a devout Catholic and was especially devoted to the Blessed Mother. When she became housebound, EWTN daily Mass was a comfort to her. The family gratefully appreciates the ministry from St. Francis bringing her Holy Communion. Relatives and friends are invited to Marie’s Funeral Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 600 Hamilton St., Norristown, PA on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 11:00 am. Her viewing is Thursday from 9:30 to 10:45 am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Norristown, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marie’s memory to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 600 Hamilton St., Norristown, PA 19401.
