Marie T. Perone

Marie T. (Picard) Perone passed away peacefully on Monday, August 31, 2020, at Parkhouse Nursing & Rehab Center in Royersford, PA. She was 92. Mrs. Perone was a former resident of Bridgeport, PA. She was a member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, where she was an annual feast worker. Marie was also in the Mothers Club of Our Lady of Mount Carmel School. She worked for Burger King in King of Prussia, PA for many years. Born in Norristown, PA on May 8, 1928, he was a daughter of the late Charles “Reds” and Josephine (Tancredi) Picard; and the wife of the late Raymond J. Perone, Sr., who died in 1994. Surviving is her loving family including two daughters, Anna M. Perone of Norristown, PA and Cheryl A. Courtney and her husband, Mike, of Bridgeport, PA; six grandchildren: Michael, Corkey, Raymond III, Scott, Amy and Ashley; six great-grandchildren: Austin, Madalyn, Mollie Rae, Braydon, Colton and Liam; daughter-in-law, Leonis Perone; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by a son, Raymond J. Perone, Jr.; a brother, Salvatore Picard; and a sister, Caroline Denczi. Relatives & friends are invited to Marie’s viewing at the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Friday, September 4, 2020 from 10 to 11:50 am; her Prayer Service will start at 12 noon. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA. Masks and social distancing will be required.
