Marie Sheridan

Marie Sheridan     Died peacefully Dec. 31, 2015 at Einstein Hospital. She was a longtime resident Eagleville, PA. Marie was a home maker, previously employed Sears Department Store and Accountant for Gateway Disposal (family owned business).  Marie was born Aug 23, 1925 to the late Samuel W. Shope and Dublina Mae (Cooney) Shope. She was raised and educated in Baltimore, Md.  Marie was the beloved wife of the late Hugh Sheridan of over 50 years. She was also preceded in death by a brother, John Shope of West Virginia. PA. Marie was an avid member of The Green Tree Church of the Brethren, Oaks,PA. where she was a member of the choir.  Marie was a devoted mother and grandmother. She leaves behind a son Tim Sheridan (Kelly) of Collegeville, stepson Barry Sheridan of Conshohocken, grandson Dennis Sheridan of Collegeville and longtime neighbors who became dear friends.  Marie enjoyed spending time with her family.  Her hobbies were gardening, baking, cooking and spending time with her animals. She will be forever in our hearts. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Friday, January 8, 2016 from 11a.m. to 12 noon followed by a funeral service at 12 noon at Green Tree Church of the Brethren, 1078 Egypt Rd., Oaks, Pa.  Interment will follow in the church Cemetery.
