Marilyn D. Lazzopina

Marilyn Dixon Daniels Lazzopina passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 20, 2011, surrounded by her loving family at her home in King of Prussia, PA. She was 87. Mrs. Lazzopina was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA. Born in New York City, NY on September 2, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Gertrude (Doyle) Dixon and the devoted wife of the late Robert M. Lazzopina. She was the loving mother of two sons, Peter A. Lazzopina of Charlotte, NC and Robert M. Lazzopina and his wife, Tracey of Longwood, FL; five daughters: Laura L. Topakbashian of Schwenksville, PA, Elaine D. Karr and her husband, Robert of Sanatoga, PA, Marilyn J. Sappington and her husband, Richard of Eldersburg, MD, Diane R. Hare of King of Prussia, PA and Karen L. Cope and her husband, Danny of Sanatoga, PA; 23 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a brother, John Daniels and his wife, Lois of Middleburgh, NY; three sisters: Gertrude Passarella of Mineola, NY, Frances Paddock of Middleburgh, NY and Joyce Makely and her husband, Robert of Apex, NC; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary Karr; a brother, Eugene Daniels; a sister, Tomasina Dixon; and her step-father, John Daniels. Marilyn's Funeral Mass will be held at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 10:30am. Officiating will be the Rev. Martin T. Cioppi, Pastor. The family will receive relatives and friends from 9 to 10:20am, at the church.
