Marino V. Verderame, or as most knew him, “Champ,” passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. He was 82 years old. Marino was a resident of King of Prussia, PA for 54 years. A graduate of Bishop Neumann High School in 1960 and Temple University in 1965, he worked as an accountant, owned his own printing shop, and later worked as a salesman and consultant in the early computer industry. He prided himself in his ability to recall and sing any song lyric, quote Shakespeare, and answer Jeopardy questions. But he was exceedingly proud of his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family and his lifelong friends Tom Ricci, Anthony Mingioni, and Ken Ciongoli.
Born in South Philadelphia, PA on June 19, 1942, he was a son of the late Marino and Nicolena (nee Spadaro) Verderame.
Marino was the loving husband of Jacqueline D. (nee Brennan) for 59 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Holly Burian and her husband Gideon of Warrington, PA; his son, M. Vincent Verderame and his wife Maggie of Henderson, NV; three grandchildren, Erica Burian, Joseph Burian, Melina Verderame; as well as many other extended family members and friends.
Marino is preceded in death by two brothers, Carmen and Vincent; and his sister, Genevieve.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd. King of Prussia, PA 19406 from 9am to 10:15am with his Funeral Mass beginning at 10:30am. Interment will be private for the family.
