Marion D. Evans  Mrs. Marion D. Evans, 88, of Tacony in Philadelphia, passed away Wednesday, February 15th, 2012 peacefully at Aria Health - Frankford Campus. Mrs. Evans was born in Phila, PA on January 18, 1924, the daughter of the late Joseph and Carlotta Sykes. She was a retired secretary from Uniroyal Tires. She was the widow of Harry P. Evans, the loving mother of Douglas P. of Florida and Norman Evans of Philadelphia.  Grandmother of Dana and Christopher,  She is pre-deceased by one sister and three brothers. Relatives and Friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday 12-1 PM and her Religious Service at 1 PM   at the Walter J. Meyers Funeral Home 6643-45 Torresdale Ave. Phila., PA 19135.
