Marjorie A. (nee Budd) Lertora passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at her home in King of Prussia, PA surrounded by her loving daughters and family. Born in Otisville, NY on November 7, 1937, Marjorie was the youngest of eleven children of the late Charles and Josephine (nee McLaughlin) Budd. She was the devoted wife of John J. Lertora, III who passed away in 1998.
Surviving is her loving family including her 4 daughters, Lynn L. Donahue (John), Cherie A. Salamy (Paul), Michelle M. Kelly (Jack), and Lori B. Blanco (Francisco); 13 grandchildren, Elissa Salamy, Paul Salamy, Jr., Catherine Donahue, Libby Kelly, John Salamy, Charlie Donahue, Jack Kelly, III, Jacqueline Blanco, Grace Donahue, Anna Salamy, Sarah Kelly, Bryan Blanco, and Max Blanco; two sisters, Joan Stratton and Jean Roosa; as well as extended family members and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Marge worked at Villanova University as a cashier for 23 years and was a dedicated fan of Villanova basketball. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, never missing an opportunity to cheer for them at a sporting event or activity. She had a sassy sense of humor and enjoyed a good giggle. She delivered Meals on Wheels in King of Prussia for many years with her sister Joan and her dear friend Mary Ann Logan. Her heart and her home were open to everyone who needed her mothering support and a good cup of tea.
The family will receive relatives and friends at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, 805 DeKalb St, Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Sunday, November 3, 2024 from 4pm to 6pm. Marjorie’s Funeral Mass will take place at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd. King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 10am, celebrated by Father Peter Donohue. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, W. Conshohocken.
