Marjorie Schmunk

March 24, 1940 — March 8, 2015

Marjorie Schmunk a long time resident of Levittown, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 8, 2015. She was born March 24, 1940 to the late Katherine and Arnold Richardson. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband George Schmunk, dear Son David Schmunk, and brother Ralph Richardson. Marjorie is survived by her Daughter Patricia Carvalho and her husband Bruce, 2 sons George Schmunk, Jr. and his fiancé Susan and Bob Schmunk and his wife Kelly, 2 Brothers Kenny Richardson and Walter Richardson, Sister Carol Richardson, 7 Grandchildren, Matthew, Nicole, Jessica, Andrew, Erica, Michael, and Ryan, 3 Great Grandchildren, Christopher, Adalyn, and Lillian, her best friend of 53 years Thelma Ostreich and her husband Max, and her little dog, Bear. Marjorie's love was self-sacrificing.  She was was happiest when doing things for other people. She enjoyed going to flea markets and yard sales with her best friend Thelma, rising at the crack of dawn to find goodies for her family and friends. She loved throwing parties and was an excellent hostess. Everyone was welcome and no one left empty handed.    She was a great baker and candy maker and always said that if you left her house hungry it was your own damn fault.   Marjorie gave to us comfort strength and direction. She loved god with all her heart and now she is at peace with our lord. She never said goodbye, always so long. She will be sadly missed. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
