Mark Richard Cusumano passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 9, 2025, at his home in Philadelphia, PA. He was 63.
Born in Norristown, Mark was the son of Charles Alfred Cusumano and the late Barbara Ann (O’Connor) Cusumano. He spent his life doing what he loved - working with technology, helping others, and sharing his passions with the people around him.
Mark was a computer technician and everyone’s go-to “IT guy.” If something broke, he could fix it. If you had a question, he had an answer. His love for technology was matched by his generous spirit - he truly loved being helpful.
He also had a quiet, thoughtful side. He enjoyed reading, playing chess, and being part of his church community at Grace City Church of the Northeast. But if you really wanted to see Mark light up, all it took was a good song. Music was his greatest joy, especially ’80s hits and classic rock, and he was happiest at concerts, soaking in the sound and energy of live music.
Mark was a loyal friend and a beloved member of his family. He is survived by his daughter, Danielle Coulson (née Schwab); his sister, Kim L. Shronk (Bill Janoski); his brother, Al Cusumano (Linda); his niece, Courtney Mrusko (Dan); and many other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Justin Shronk.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA 19405. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., with a memorial service beginning at 5:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark’s memory can be made to Grace City Church of the Northeast at https://gracecityphilly.com/give.
