Marsha L. Bullwinkle

Marsha L. (Peterson) Bullwinkle passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Brightview E. Norriton Senior Living. She was 80. Marsha was a former resident of King of Prussia, PA. She graduated from Augustana College in Rock Island IL and then served as a Missionary with ELCA Global Missions teaching in Africa. Marsha later worked for Macy’s in King of Prussia for over 30 years. Marsha was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in King of Prussia, PA., where she was involved with Hearts and Hands, the Altar Guild, Worship and Music, and the Bell Choir. Marsha was also a member of the Valley Forge Homestead Quilters and volunteered with local elections.

Born in Manistee, Michigan on April 2, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Lavern Ellsworth and Norma Elaine (Burke) Peterson.

Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 55 years, George C. Bullwinkle; 4 daughters: Mary Beth Bullwinkle of King of Prussia, PA, Ruth Bullwinkle of Davis, WV, Anna Malloy and her husband, Brian of Douglassville, PA, and Elizabeth Bullwinkle of Towson, MD; 3 grandchildren: Steven Bullwinkle, Logan Malloy, and Caitlin Malloy; 2 brothers, Paul Peterson of Manistee, MI and Eric Peterson and his wife, Paula of Safety Harbor, Fl; and many other loving nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends. She is preceded in death by a brother, Burke Peterson.

Relatives and friends are invited to Marsha’s viewing on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 132 E. Valley Forge Rd., King of Prussia, PA from 9 to 9:50am, with her Funeral Service starting at 10:00am. Interment will be private.
