Martha T. Deberardinis

On Saturday March 12, 2022 Martha DeBerardinis (Aceto), born May 23, 1918, passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was 103 years old. A lifelong Philadelphia native, Martha was well-loved by her family and friends. She was the mother of four children, had six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and always made time for everyone. Martha married Camillo DeBerardinis in 1944 and they celebrated 64 wonderful years together. When asked about her secret to a long life her response was faith, love and lots of family. A graduate of Temple University, Martha spent time after graduation working in the administration department of the Civil Service. Eventually, she went on to manage the office tasks of her husband's busy Germantown Internal Medicine practice while also maintaining the family home and helping raise her children. Martha was predeceased by Camillo DeBerardinis and by her daughter Camille Crossin. She is survived by her three children Denise Gibson (Joseph), Tom DeBerardinis (Lisa Galante) and Paula Fagan (Robert Holmes). During the last 14 years, Martha received great support and care from the Visiting Angels of Jenkintown and her family wishes to express their appreciation. Family visitation at 12:30 PM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 PM to be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at St. James Catholic Church, 8320 Brookside Rd., Elkins Park, PA.
