Martha Jane Ronan

Martha Jane (Evans) Ronan passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 9, 2018, surrounded by her loving family at her residence in King of Prussia, PA. She was 98. Martha Jane was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Norristown, a board member of Children’s Aide Society and Montgomery County Medical Auxiliary. Born in Dayton, Ohio on February 25, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Monroe A. and Catherine Mary (Moore) Evans. She was the wife of the late Robert Blair Ronan, MD, who died in 1983. Surviving is her loving family including 3 sons: Robert E. (& Chris) Ronan, James M. Ronan, and John B. (& Maureen) Ronan; 2 daughters, M. Kay (& Richard) Hannan and Susan M. (& Tim) Dey; 14 grandchildren: Ruthanne, Rob, John, Jim, Gabriella, Nathaniel, Malinda, Peter, Elizabeth, Aidan, Tyler, Matt, Robin and Tim; and 10 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to Martha Jane’s viewing at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 9 to 10:50 am, with her service starting at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, W. Norriton, PA.
