Martin S. "Marty" Heidel

Martin S. “Marty” Heidel passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at his residence in Norristown, PA. He was 57. Mr. Heidel worked for 34 years as a tree surgeon for Arader Tree Service. He enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. Martin was an avid fisherman who loved deep sea and ice fishing. He was funny with a great sense of humor. Martin was a beloved brother, uncle, nephew, friend and neighbor. Born in Norristown, PA on September 6, 1961, he was a son of the late Arthur R. Heidel, Sr. and Frances V. (Schwemmer) Heidel. Surviving is his loving family including three brothers: Frank (Phylis) Heidel, Arthur R. (Frances) Heidel, Jr. and his twin, James Heidel; three sisters: Deborah A. (Richard) Mullen, Diane M. Heidel and Mary F. (Shawn) McGlinchey; an aunt, Regina Decker; his beloved dog, Schatzie; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Heidel; and a nephew, Erich Pascavage. The family will receive relatives and friends at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 5 to 7:00 pm. Interment will be private.
