Mary A. Demaria

Mary A. (Giorno) DeMaria passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, PA. She was 99. Mary was a resident of King of Prussia, PA and a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA. She attended Germantown High School and worked as a Quality Control Inspector for Automatic Timing & Control in King of Prussia, PA. Mary was a pianist, musician, and fine artist. Her and her late husband’s lives revolved around their children. Mary was a tremendous cook and could cook anything and loved doing it.

Born on August 8, 1925 in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Maestro Luigi and Chiarina (D’Avanzo) Giorno. Mary is the wife of the late Joseph DeMaria who passed away in 2009.

Surviving is her loving children including 2 sons, Joseph C. DeMaria,Esq. and Carmine L. DeMaria and a daughter Claire Rose DeMaria; a sister-in-law, Julia DiMaria; and many nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Julius, Frank, and Louis and 3 sisters, Julia, Norma, and Theresa.

Mary’s family will receive relatives and friends at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 9:30AM to 10:15AM, with her Funeral Mass starting at 10:30AM. Burial will be in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens in King of Prussia, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA
