Mary M. Ahlfeld

Mary M. Ahlfeld, a former longtime resident of East Norriton, and currently of Shannondell, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 22, 2015. She was 87 years old. Born December 28, 1927 in Butler, PA she was the daughter of the late Hugh C. and Pearl Melton and was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Fritz H. Ahlfeld. Mary is survived by her two sons; William F. of Mertztown, PA and Robert M. of Stephens City, VA; one granddaughter Louisa; great grandson Jordan, both of Norristown, PA and many nieces and nephews. Mary was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star-Radiant Chapter 96 and enjoyed participating in bocce, cards and attending many activities at Shannondell with her good friends. Family and Friends are invited to attend a funeral service Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at the Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home 101 N Park Avenue, Norristown (Rt. 363 Trooper), PA.
