Mary T. (Gaeto) Angelilli passed away peacefully on Friday, August 20, 2010, surrounded by her loving family at Mercy Suburban Hospital in E. Norriton, PA. She was 92. Mrs. Angelilli worked as a seamstress for the former Hosey's in Bridgeport, PA. Mary was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA. She was also a member of the Bridgeport Seniors Group, the Upper Merion Woman's Club, and a life member of the DAV Ladies Auxiliary.Mary lived with her daughter in Bridgeport, where she loved to watch ABC Soap Operas, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She knitted endless blankets, hats, and scarves for family and friends and donated a blanket once a year for the annual church feast. Mary enjoyed playing her slot game, working on her search-a-word books, and loved going to Atlantic City. She really valued her time with family and friends, especially seeing her great-grandchildren and going to IHOP with her granddaughter. Everyone remembers Mary for her delicious sauce, gnocchi, and salads. She also was a foster grandparent for Headstart in Norristown until she reached the age of 90. Born in Bridgeport, PA on December 19, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Terino and Sabia (Santillo) Gaeto. She was the wife of the late Paul Angelilli, who died in 1996. Surviving is her loving family including a daughter, Linda J. DeFrancisco and her husband, Bob of Bridgeport, PA; two grandchildren, Dina and Christopher and his wife, Sarah; two great-granddaughters, Mary and Anna; a brother, Anthony Gaeto and his wife, Virginia of Jeffersonville, PA; two sisters-in-law, Jean Gaeto and Rose Ward; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a sister, Rose Maniscalco, and 2 brothers, Michael and Jimmy Gaeto.Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 10:00am. Her viewings will be Monday evening from 6 to 8pm and Tuesday morning from 8:30 to 9:20am, both at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St.,(Rt 202)Bridgeport, PA 19405. Interment in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405.
