Mary Elizabeth Bucha

Mary Elizabeth Bucha, age 92 of Jeffersonville passed away peacefully on Monday, June 17, 2019 at Shannondell Rehab Center. Born in Norristown to the late James and Catherine Zummo (nee Dickson). Her beloved husband, Alfred passed away in 2010. She was also preceded in death by 5 siblings, Joseph, James, Anthony, Rose Momme and Anna. Mary worked as a telephone operator for 30 years at Bell Telephone before retiring. She was a member of the Pioneer Club, a dedicated Christian and founding member of Visitation BVM Parish. She enjoyed watching Lawrence Welk, golf and the Phillies. She also loved walking, gardening and needlepoint. Most of all she enjoyed her family. Mary is survived by a son, Richard W. (Linda) of E. Norriton; 3 grandsons, Nicholas (Amanda), Jacob (Jessica) and Evan; 2 great grandsons, Zachary Thomas and Michael Jacob; sister in law, Anna Mae Daloisio and several nieces and nephews who all loved her dearly. Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Sunday, June 23, 2019 from 6-8 pm at Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home, 101 N. Park Ave. (Rt. 363 Trooper) Eagleville, Pa. A second viewing will be held on Monday, June 24, 2019 from 8:45 to 9:45 am at Visitation BVM Upper Church, 196 N Trooper Rd., Eagleville, Pa. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10 am. Entombment will follow at St. Patrick Mausoleum, Norristown.
