Mary Ann (Doherty) Case

Mary Ann (Doherty) Case passed away peacefully on Monday, February 2, 2015 at ManorCare Health Services in Pottstown, PA. She was 83. Mrs. Case was a resident of the Keystone Villa in Douglassville, PA and was formerly of King of Prussia, PA. She worked as an editor for the Ladies Home Journal and for the King of Prussia Courier. Mary Ann was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA, the Upper Merion Band Boosters and the Optimist Club. She enjoyed dining out, theater, opera, travel and reading. Born in Philadelphia, PA on June 26, 1931, she was a daughter of the late William C. and Marion P. (Brennan) Doherty. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Case, who died in 1998. Surviving is her loving family including a son, Christopher R. & Linda Case of Spring City, PA; three daughters: Karen P. & Steven Fuerst of Limerick, PA, Lorin M. & Gilles Goussard of Limerick, PA and Deborah A. & Basil Vangeli of Gilbertsville, PA; her companion, Stewart Wolfskill; eight grandchildren: Erin, Alexandra, Brian, Meredith, Cameron, Emily, Olivia and Angelique; a great-grandson, Jack; a sister, Catherine Fitzpatrick of New Bloomfield, PA; and many other loving family members. Relatives & friends are invited to Mary Ann's Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 10:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Martin T. Cioppi, Pastor. Her viewing is Friday from 9 to 9:50 am, at the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lower Merion Twp., PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary Ann's memory to the Montgomery County SPCA, 19 E.
