Mary L. Dalessandro

Mary L. (Brilsky) Dalessandro passed away peacefully on Friday, July 24, 2009, surrounded by her loving family at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, PA. She was 83. Mrs. Dalessandro was a resident of Bridgeport, PA. She worked as a seamstress for the former Novells, Chatlains and Charmings Stores, all in Norristown, PA and Philco Ford in Lansdale, PA. She was a member of St. Augustine R.C. Church in Bridgeport, PA. Mary enjoyed music, cooking and animals. She made many award winning dresses for the contests she entered for her doll collection. Born in Philadelphia, PA on April 1, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Anna H. (Harubin) Brilsky. She was the wife of the late Nicholas Thomas Dalessandro, who died in 1977. Surviving are her loving family including a daughter, Barbara A. "Bunny" DiSanto of Bridgeport, PA; two grandchildren, Thomas M. Kerick, Jr. and Christine M. Castronova; and three great-grandchildren: Tommy, Kristie and Nicole.Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at St. Augustine R.C. Church, 464 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 10:00am. Her viewing will be on Tuesday morning from 9 to 9:50am, at the church. Interment will be private at the request of the family.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary's memory to the Montgomery County SPCA, 19 E.
