Mary J. (Marburger) DiNolfi went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, PA. She was 73. Mrs. DiNolfi, a homemaker, was a resident of Bridgeport, PA and graduated from the former Bridgeport High School, Class of 1955. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bridgeport. Mary loved poetry, the Bible and singing hymns, but most of all she loved being with her husband, children and grandchildren. Her love and devotion to her family was as unfailing as her love for her Lord. Mary was affectionately known as "Gran" not only by her grandchildren, but to countless others whose lives she touched. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Born in Bridgeport, PA on April 22, 1937, she was a daughter of the late George M. Marburger, Sr. and Margaret N. (Coates) Marburger. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 54 years, Charles A. DiNolfi, Jr., lovingly known as "honey"; two sons, Scott D. DiNolfi and his wife, Karen of Phoenixville, PA and Adam M. DiNolfi and his wife, Erika of King of Prussia, PA; a daughter, Tara R. Huffman and her husband, Fred of Chester, VA; 12 grandchildren: Heather, Chuck, Nicole, Danielle, Kate, Sarah, Renee, Megan, Hannah, Angelo, Amanda & Anthony; 1 great-granddaughter, Lydia; a brother, Rev. Wayne R. Marburger and his wife, Janet of Prince George, VA; a sister, Karen Lee Stickle and her husband, Sinclair of Palm Coast, FL; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a beloved son, Charles W. DiNolfi; 3 brothers, George Jr., Albert and Donald Marburger; and her twin sister, Margaret "Peggy" Gergel. Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service at the First Presbyterian Church of Bridgeport, 515 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Monday, September 27, 2010 at 7:30pm. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Donald G. Barnhouse, Pastor. Friends may call Monday evening from 6:30 to 7:20pm, at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Bridgeport, 515 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 and/or the ALS Association - Greater Philadelphia Chapter, 321 Norristown Rd., Suite 260, Ambler, PA 19002.
