Mary Louise Dodds Bailie, 93, of Jenkintown, PA passed away Tuesday, January 9th, 2024 peacefully, at her residence.
Mary was born in the Oxford Circle section of Philadelphia, PA St. Martin of Tours Parish, on September 26, 1930, beloved daughter of the late Harry Hopper Dodds and Marguerite Elizabeth (McCullough). She was the widow of David Frazer Bailie.
Also predeceased by her brother Henry H. Dodds, her nephew Joseph C. DeAngelis, and brother-in-law Joseph DeAngelis, great niece Savannah.
Survived by her daughter Joan Bailie Almerini, son Brian Robert Bailie, granddaughter Fidelia M. Almerini, sisters Marguerite “Tommy” DeAngelis and Betsy Dodds (Vita). Also survived by her niece Donna M. (Robert) Lehmann, nephews Charles “Chip” (Renee) DeAngelis and Michael (Karen) DeAngelis, great-nephew Bryan (Dana) DeAngelis and Christopher Lehmann (Hannah), great-niece Christina (Chris) DeAngelis-Levin, great-great nephew Boston Borges. Beloved by the Bailies and Schiafinos of Louisiana.
She was a graduate of Little Flower High School, attended Art classes at the Museum School of Art (PAFA) and had a lifelong love of Music & the Arts.
A founding member of St. Hilary of Poitiers Parish, Rydal, PA 19046.
Family and Friends Visitation will be held 10 to 11 AM and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM, both on Wednesday, January 17th. 2024 at St. Hilary of Poitiers 820 Susquehanna Rd. in Rydal, PA 19046.
Her Interment will be at Lawnview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics, CHOP, or your local animal shelter.
