Mary M. Fazio

Mary M. (Murphy) Fazio passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 23, 2019, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. She was 97. Mrs. Fazio was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She worked as a medical secretary and later as an executive secretary for Girard Bank. After raising her children, she was a secretary for ICI Americas, retiring at the age of 75. She was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia. Mary was deeply religious and said the Rosary every day. She enjoyed bowling, which is how she met her husband. She loved doing crossword puzzles, playing cards and socializing with family and friends. Mary was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, most especially the Phillies. Mary was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 16, 1922. She was the wife of the late Frank J. Fazio, Sr., who died in 1999. Surviving is her loving family including a daughter, Trudy A. Lauro and her husband, Salvatore, of King of Prussia, PA; a son, Frank J. Fazio, Jr. and his wife, Marie, of Drexel Hill, PA; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives & friends are invited to Mary’s viewing at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 9 to 10:15 am; followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406.
