Mary Gruber, 85 of Audubon passed away suddenly on August 19, 2022. She was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania on January 9, 1937 to the late Thomas and Mary (nee McShane) Kelly. She is survived by her daughter, Annamarie Genther (Mark A’Brial); nephew, William Daywalt (Jennifer); Niece, Cheryl Verofsky (Frank Vertrulli) and several other nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Ernest (Ernie) Gruber; daughter, Eileen; brother-in-law, Harry; and sisters, Patricia Pettine and Constance Clark. Mary enjoyed life. She also loved spending time with family. She especially enjoyed traveling through Europe with her daughter and going to the shore. Her favorite place to travel was Ireland. She met many friends during her travels and enjoyed spending time on the trips with them. Mary was an avid collector or Lighthouses, which she has seen many in person, and Eagles. She had many of both around her home. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, August 31 at Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home from 5:30-7:00pm followed by a service at 7:00 pm.
