Mary T. (Tomasello) Giangiulio

Mary T. (Tomasello) Giangiulio passed away peacefully on Monday, February 22, 2010, surrounded by her loving family at her residence in Blue Bell, PA. She was 79. Mrs. Giangiulio worked as a telephone operator for the Bell Telephone Co. and John Wanamaker's Department Store. She was a member of Visitation B.V.M. Church in Trooper, PA. Mary was also a former member of Holy Saviour Church in Norristown, PA, where she sang in the church's choir. She loved her children deeply and adored her grandchildren. Mary donated her cooking talents to feed the homeless at the Missionary Sisters of Charity and volunteered her time at Mom's House in Phoenixville.Born in Norristown, PA on November 21, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Gioacchino and Anna (Ticali) Tomasello. She was the wife of the late Philip A. "Sho-Sho" Giangiulio, who died in 2009. Surviving are her loving family including a son, Philip J. Giangiulio and his wife, Beth of Chester Springs, PA; two daughters, Anne E. Kantz and her husband, Stephen of Montclair, VA and Barbara G. Saunders and her husband, Michael of E. Norriton, PA; nine grandchildren: Stephen, Greg and his wife, Jennifer, Lisa, Michael, Shara, Chrissy, Philip, Christian and Mary; one great-granddaughter, Hila; a sister, Peggy T. Parker of Blue Bell, PA; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Pauline Tomasello, Dorothy Tomasello and Nancy Andrews. Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at Visitation B.V.M. Church, 196 N. Trooper Rd., Trooper, PA 19403 on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 12:00noon. Her viewing will be Friday morning from 10:30 to 11:50am, at the church.
