Mary E. (Cory) Hunter

Mary E. (Cory) Hunter passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at her residence in King of Prussia, PA. She was 85. Mrs. Hunter worked as a Network Administration Supervisor for Verizon in Fort Washington, PA for 15 years. She was a member of the Bell Telephone Pioneers. Mary enjoyed watching and feeding birds, planting flowers, relaxing and working in her yard, and she was a Phillies and Eagles fan. Most of all, Mary loved spending time with her family at the mountains. Born in Whitemarsh Twp., PA on June 22, 1929, she was a daughter of the late George and Eleanor (Metz) Cory. She was the wife of the late William A. Hunter, Sr., who died in 2000. Surviving is her loving family including a son, William A. Hunter, Jr. of King of Prussia, PA; two sisters, Anna Cressman of Conshohocken, PA and Eleanor Hertzog of New Holland, PA; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Cory.Funeral services and interment will be private at the request of the family.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 132 E.
