Mary Jane (nee Livezey) on October 18, 2022, of the Philadelphia Protestant Home, formerly of Lamott, PA. Preceded in death by her husband, L. Joseph Bates, Sr. She was the loving mother of Mitzie (the late Bill), Joe (Colleen), Jane (Skip), Betsy (Ray), Michael (Mac), Mark (Lynanne) and the late Nancy (David). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing, Friday, October 28, 2022 from 9:15 to 10:15 AM at Queen of Peace Church, 820 North Hills Ave., Ardsley, followed by her funeral mass at 10:30 AM. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
