Mary Lee O'Leary

Mary Lee O’Leary (nee Norris) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Doylestown Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Philadelphia, PA on April 7, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Mary Norris (nee Condon).

She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren who will forever miss her. She had an amazing ability to make each child and grandchild feel they were the only one in her presence. She worked as a nurse’s aide at Doylestown Hospital, Pine Run Community, and Neshaminy Manor caring for many sick patients and forming bonds with them and their families. She loved telling stories, making big meals for family get-togethers, music, watching sports (especially her Phillies), and all animals. Her smile and laughter were infectious.

Surviving are her loving children including Jack (Leah), Theresa Kelly, Tim (Kathleen), Dan (Jennifer), Maureen (Dan), Mary Beth (Dave), and Denis (Jennifer); 20 grandchildren, Jack, Caity, Owen, Alec, Liam John-McBride, Caroline, Gabhainn, Aidan, Nate, Maddie, Brendan, Harrison, Kayley, Shanleigh, Liam, Finn, Nolan, Alannah, Griffin, and Zachary; sister Pat Norris; and her grandcats Leo and Wendell as well as many other nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her daughter, Denise, son Kevin (Jenny), grandsons Max and Joseph, and Brother Tom Norris (Rosie).

The family will receive family and friends on Friday, December 6, 2024 at the Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home, 507 West Ave. in Jenkintown, PA from 10 am to 12 pm. A memorial service will follow at the same location at 12 pm. Her interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary Lee’s name to the March of Dimes organization.
