Mary E. Light

Mary E. (Jones) Light passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 18, 2017, surrounded by her loving family at Suburban Community Hospital in E. Norriton, PA. She was 82. Mary was a resident of Norristown, PA. She was a factory worker for the former Dill Products in Norristown, PA. Mary volunteered for Meals of Wheels and was always kind, hardworking and helpful to others. She was adored by her grandchildren and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Born in Norristown, PA on April 1, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Emma Louise (Lynch) Jones. She was the wife of the late David I. Light. Surviving is her loving family including two daughters, Mary E. Brill of Union, NJ and Barbara S. (Allen) Batson of Rixeyville, VA; a son, LeRoy M. Hartshaw of Culpepper, VA; 5 grandchildren: Josh, David, Rebecca, Jacob and Ryan; a brother, Richard M. Jones of Phoenixville, PA; two sisters, Catherine Jones of Norristown, PA and Emma L. Jones of Phoenixville, PA; and many other loving family members. Relatives and friends are invited to Mary’s Graveside Service at Riverside Cemetery, 200 S. Montgomery Ave., W.
