Mary F. (Oates) Mccree

Mary F. (Oates) McCree passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Kindred Hospital in Havertown, PA. She was 80. Mrs. McCree was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She worked as a manager in the telemarketing field. Mary was a member and driving force behind the Upper Merion Senior Service Center in King of Prussia, where she was a past president. She enjoyed swimming and playing cards, especially Bridge. Born in Philadelphia, PA on December 29, 1937, she was a daughter of the late John T. and Helen (Murphy) Oates. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 58 years, Donald McCree; a son, Brian D. (Samantha) McCree of Schwenksville, PA; a daughter, Teresa Williams of Montgomeryville, PA; seven grandchildren: Sean, Dylan and Luke Williams and Julia, Jocelyn, Matthew and Spencer McCree; and two brothers, John (Genevieve) Oates of Yardley, PA and Dennis (Joan) Oates of Malvern, PA. She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Foley. Relatives & friends are invited to Mary’s Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson St., Bridgeport, PA on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 11:00 am. Her viewing is Tuesday from 9 to 10:50 am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to the Upper Merion Senior Service Center, 431 W. Valley Forge Road, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
