Mary Theresa Puschak

Mary Theresa Puschak (nee Rush), a beloved mother, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 4, 2025, at St. Joseph Villa in Flourtown, Pennsylvania at the age of 65.

Born in Abington, PA on August 20, 1959, Mary was the cherished daughter of the late Jane (Duffy) and Martin J. Rush.

She dedicated her life to caring for others, working as a Registered Nurse. Her compassionate spirit extended beyond her profession, touching the lives of everyone she knew with her kindness and generosity.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Lerro and her husband, Paul; and her beloved grandchildren, Jace Galgon, Bayden Lerro, Martin Lerro, and Sidney Lerro. She will be deeply missed by her sisters Sister Eileen M. Rush SSJ and Noreen Blyweiss (Fred) and her devoted aunt and uncle, Elizabeth and Michael O’Kane;  Aunt Bridie Coffey and  Aunt Teresa Callaghan.  She is also survived by cherished uncles and cousins here in the United States, Ireland, and England.

A woman of deep faith, Mary's life was a testament to her unwavering love for her family and her commitment to serving others. Her warm smile and gentle nature will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Relatives and friends are invited to Mary's viewing from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Immaculate Conception BVM Church, 507 West Ave., Jenkintown, PA. Interment will be private at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at a later date.
