Mary M. Pysz

Mary Margaret (Mondock) Pysz sadly passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Bellingham Senior Living Community in West Chester, PA. She recently celebrated her 75th birthday with loved ones. Mary was a resident of West Chester and formerly resided in King of Prussia, PA for over fifty years. She attended Sacred Heart Church in Bridgeport, PA. The breakfast club after church was a long tradition she enjoyed with cherished friends. She retired from Tetra Tech in King of Prussia, PA, working as adminstrative assistant. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling the country with a long time friend. Mary actively participated in the Upper Merion Senior Center, and enjoyed reading, traveling and playing cards, especially Bridge and Canasta. She was dilegent in passing on family traditions, as well as documenting the family tree. Born in Spangler, PA on October 9, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Michael J. and Helena (Drotar) Mondock. Mary was the wife of the late Bernard A. Pysz who died in 1996. Survivng are her loving family including two sons, Christopher J. Pysz and Bernard A. Pysz, both in California; a daughter, Renee M. Hemery of Havertown, PA; with two grandchildren, Ryan M. Hemery and Reese M. Hemery; a sister, Patricia Levan and her husband John E. Levan Sr. of Coatesville, PA; and many other loving family members residing throughout the country. Mary’s viewing will be held at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 9:30 to 10:20am, with her Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30am. Interment will be in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens in King of Prussia, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to Mother of Divine Providence church or Sacred Heart church, 120 Jefferson St., Bridgeport, PA 19405.
