Mary B. (Ferry) Quick

Mary B. (Ferry) Quick passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 25, 2018, at St. Martha’s Manor in Downingtown, PA. She was 81. Mrs. Quick was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She worked as a Benefits Coordinator for the Upper Merion School District. Mary was a devoted member of Mother of Divine Providence Church and the King of Prussia Senior Center. She loved to read and was an avid gardener. Mary was very proud of her Irish heritage. Born in Philadelphia, PA on October 11, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Ferry. She was the wife of the late Walter Quick, who died in 2017. Surviving is her loving family including a son, Gerald Laucella and his wife, Amy, of Downingtown, PA; a daugher, Kathleen Harrison and her husband, Fred, of Mantua, NJ; six grandchildren: Jennifer (Anas) Shraim, Lauren Laucella, Allison Laucella, Michelle Laucella and Christopher (Heather) Laucella and Joey Schairer; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence Laucella. Mary’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 10:30 am, with greeting from 9:30 to 10:20 am. Interment will be in Washington Memorial Chapel Cemetery, Valley Forge, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to the Catholic Charities Appeal, Archdiocese of Philadelphia, 222 N. 17th St., Philadelphia, PA 19103.
